Terms and Conditions of Sale

The following terms and conditions apply to all transactions that take place on www.planprintinguk.com

The placing of an order indicates your acceptance of these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.

These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights. 

To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age.

We have the right to refuse or cancel your order, at our discretion without giving a reason.

 

Product
 
Although we warrant that the goods will, at the time of delivery, correspond to the description given by us all products we sell are of a technical nature and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods.

We reserve the right to alter any details of products advertised without notice and while every effort is made to describe goods accurately no warranty is given as to accuracy and no responsibility will be accepted for error or mis-description and any resulting loss.

There will be an approximate 5mm white border on your laser cad printed sheets and dress patterns (photo quality posters will be edge to edge full bleed if applicable), your design will not bleed to the edge of the sheet. If you are unsure of the term ‘bleed’ then please call and speak to one of our sales

Artwork

All artwork must be supplied as 300dpi Hi-Res PDF. Planprintinguk.com is not responsible for images that may print blurred or pixelated due to customer supplied artwork.

The production times given or implied on this website will be on hold until you supply acceptable artwork. Any delays in artwork not being supplied ‘Print Ready’ may lead to your order being delayed.

Delivery

You accept that we will make reasonable effort to have your order printed and delivered within the indicated timescale of 1 to 2 clear working days, but delivery and despatch times are specified as a ‘best endeavour’ and no liability is accepted for any delay or error in the delivery of the goods. Time is not of the essence, delivery can be delayed upto a maximum of 28 days.

If the courier company has tried delivering your package but no one was in to sign for and accept the package, the parcel will be taken back to the depot to await further instructions, you accept that this will result in a delay to the delivery times quoted on this website.

If no one is in to sign for and accept the package, the courier at their discretion can leave the package with a neighbour/safe location, if this is not acceptable, the courier can take the package back to the depot to await further instructions, you accept that this will result in further delay to the delivery times mentioned on this website.

If an order is delivered to the wrong delivery address due to your error providing us with the wrong address details, then it’s possible that the consignment we be returned back to Planprintinguk.com. In the event of this happening we will arrange for re-delivery of the consignment to the correct address and you will be a re-charged for this redelivery. 

Complaints, Defects & Refunds

Any complaints about printing defects, missing prints etc must be made in writing by email within 48 hours of receiving your goods. Any complaints made after this time period are void of any right to reprint.

Due to nature of products we sell (personalised goods), refunds for products that have already been printed are not possible (UK Law), we can only reprint the defective goods.

When received, we will review your complaint and at our discretion either:

  1. Request for proof of the defect
  2. Request that you return the goods back to us for examination
  3. Reprint the defective order

You must return 95% of the delivered order back to us within 7 days of you receiving the original delivery if we ask you to return the goods back to us to examine.

Quantity / Changes to orders

Any changes in quantity ordered must be made in writing via email prior to commencement of processing. Any increases in the order will be regarded as a separate contract unless written notification is received before work commences on the original order. We reserve the right to alter the delivery date agreed if customer changes the order specification. 

Quantity variation / Shortages

We shall be deemed to have fulfilled our contract by delivery of a quantity within 3% plus or minus of the quantity of printed goods ordered by you. if the quantity falls short below the above mentioned, you must notify us within 48 hours of receiving the order. The printing machines have logs and we will then investigate as to why your ordered quantities are incorrect and rectify by providing reprints if applicable. 

Paper Quality

We cannot guarantee that the paper quality / paper shade / grain / texture / feel etc will match to what was printed in a past order for your current order.

Liability

You accept that Planprintinguk.com shall not be liable for any costs, expenses incurred by the customer or any other person or 3rd party company arising directly or indirectly out of any print error. In the event that we have printed a document incorrectly and it be found to be our fault then we will supply a re-print without cost to the customer.

Our liability for any loss or damage suffered by you in respect of the goods shall be strictly limited to the contract value of the goods. We will not be liable for any loss of income, loss of profits, loss of markets, loss of reputation, loss of customers, loss of use, loss of an opportunity even if we had knowledge that such damages or loss might arise or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages or loss howsoever arising including without limitation breach of contract, negligence, wilful act or default in lieu of any unfulfilled or fulfilled order. 

Severability

In the event that any or any part of these Terms and Conditions shall be determined invalid, unlawful or unenforceable to any extent such term, condition or provision shall be severed from the remaining Terms and Conditions, which shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. 

No Waiver

Our failure to insist upon strict performance of any provision of these Terms and Conditions, shall not be deemed to be a waiver of our rights or remedies in respect of any present or future default of the Customer in performance or compliance with any of these Terms and Conditions 

Force Majeure

We will not be held responsible for failure or delay in the carrying out of our obligations under the contract arising from any cause outside our reasonable control such as inability to procure materials, machine breakdown etc and in such circumstances we shall be entitled by notice to terminate the contract in whole or in part without incurring any liability whatsoever to you. 

Payment Method

All orders must be paid for in advance. Full payment must be received and cleared prior to processing the order. All prices are quoted in Pounds Sterling and payment cannot be accepted in any other currency. Payment for the goods which include delivery charges are to be made through the method shown on our website at the time you place your order. All funds must be cleared prior to us commencing production of your order.

Quotations

Orders are accepted subject to our right to adjust prices quoted to take account of any changes in the law or Government regulations requiring us to increase prices by way of direct taxation, import duties, customs and excise duties or otherwise. The prices are based on today’s current costs of production and in the event of any increase in wages / costs of materials or any other expense to us occurring after the confirmation of accepted contract, we shall be entitled to charge such increases to you. 

VAT

Where applicable all prices quoted are subject to VAT at the current rate. If VAT is noticed on your order after the bill has been paid, you as the customer are still liable to pay the VAT in full. We are bound by law to charge VAT according to HM Customs & Excise. 

Law

These Terms and Condition shall be in accordance with UK Law.
